ARC Review: Queen of Myth and Monsters (Adrian X Isolde #2) by Scarlett St. Clair
This is such a great sequel! The stakes are even higher in the plot and it sets us up really well for the third book. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves paranormal fantasy with equal parts epic kingdoms and spice.

This is solidly a paranormal, urban fantasy with a mystery plot. With that in mind, fantasy readers who love that sort of story will definitely enjoy this one.
Mini Book Review: Book of Night by Holly Black
I can’t lie, this is probably one of my most disappointing releases for this year. While it wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t great either. It had all the potential for greatness but I feel like it just missed the mark.
Mini Book Review: The Nature of Witches by Rachel Griffin
This is a truly unique experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a magical story with a deeper meaning behind it. This was a fast read for me because I was completely enthralled into the atmosphere and the plot. This story will always hold a special place in my heart.
Mini Book Review: Year One by Nora Roberts
I am saddened that I didn’t enjoy this that much. I love Nora Roberts, but I just couldn’t get into this one. Overall, I was just kind of disappointed at the blandness, a stark contrast to many of her other renowned novels.
Book Review: Enchant the Night by Amanda Ashley
Overall I believe that Amanda Ashley is a fantastic writer, whom I highly recommend for anyone that loves paranormal romances. Although this book did have its flaws, I still enjoyed it as an avid reader in this genre.
