Everything about this story was done well, the immersive setting, the character developments, the mystery plot, the romances, and friendships. I really enjoyed my time with the story and definitely recommend!
ARC Review: Heartless Hunter (The Crimson Moth #1) by Kristen Ciccarelli – YA Romantasy
It wasn’t the most epic, memorable romantasy, but I still liked it. If you’re a lover of the genre, don’t expect anything new or fresh. If you’re looking to get into the genre, I think this is a great one to start with.
ARC Review: Our Fault (Culpables #3) by Mercedes Ron – Romance
Finally, the epic conclusion to my guilty pleasure series! I loved this so freaking much. It’s traumatic and toxic, messy and chaotic, and I was addicted to the story the entire time.
ARC Review: Your Fault (Culpable #2) by Mercedes Ron – Romance
This book ripped my heart out, tore it to shreds, and then stomped all over it…. and I loved every minute of it!
Best of 2023: Literary, Contemporary, Historical, & Romance Books (My 5-Star Reads)
This list will give you a great start if you, like me, don’t normally read these types of books but are looking to branch out of your comfort zone. These are all easy and fun books I would recommend to beginners in these genres. I am primarily a fantasy and thriller reader. Many of these books have those elements in them as well, which helped me to really enjoy them.
Hemlock by Kiersten Modglin
I devoured this book in two days. I just couldn’t get enough of it and I was so invested in everything. After reading this one, I immediately went to find more books by this author.
Magnolia Parks (Magnolia Parks Universe #1) by Jessa Hastings
Y’all… I really don’t get the hype for this one. I hated the two main characters so much. I ended up DNFing because I just didn’t care and couldn’t do it anymore.
A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole
This book has officially earned a spot on the exclusive list of books that have made me cry! Wow, what an emotional story. I’m still not over it. If you’re looking for a kismet, heartwarming, gut wrenching romance, this is for you.
Pretty Reckless (All Saints High #1) by L.J. Shen
I was so excited to get a copy of this one. But, I have to be honest, it was really a struggle for me. I don’t really know how to feel about it.
Death (The Four Horseman #4) by Laura Thalassa
I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy and romance! I’m so sad that this is over, but I’m also very happy that it was a satisfying conclusion to all of the events.
I’m actually obsessed with this series: Famine (The Four Horseman #3) by Laura Thalassa
I’m actually obsessed with this series. I just can’t get enough. These books are everything to me. The suffering of Famine devastated me.
This series has me in a chokehold like I wish a horseman would: War (The Four Horseman #2) by Laura Thalassa
Each one takes place in a different part of the world. Each horseman has their own unique abilities and motivations. Everything about this series is real and raw.
