Wow what a fantastic adventure! Amie Kaufman is one of my favorite authors of all time! When I saw she was writing a new fantasy series, I never requested a book so fast in my life. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to read an early copy.
Obsessed with this book! I devoured it – Star Splitter by Matthew J. Kirby
Wow, wow, wow – I absolutely devoured this book! It was so freaking good! I just can’t say enough good things about this book. If you like science fiction, you absolutely have to read it!!
A Solid YA Horror and Survival Thriller: The Lake House by Sarah Beth Durst
This story is a solid young adult horror and survival thriller. This is a positive three star read for me. While I didn’t absolutely love it, it was still an enjoyable read. It’s fun, even if not the most mind-blowingly memorable.
An Absolute Must-Read: Silver in the Bone by Alexandra Bracken
There’s sweet found family connections, adorable enemies-to-more tension, tragedy and betrayals, thrilling battle scenes, worlds in peril, prophecies and tales of destiny, legends come to life, magical beings and menacing creatures, just literally everything could ever hope for in a fantasy.
You have to read this one! Divine Rivals (Iris at the Front #1) by Rebecca Ross
I’m in love with everything about this book – the lyrical writing, the cheeky banter, the historical elements, and the magical realism. This is an enchanting story and I couldn’t get enough. It’s a warm and heartfelt tale set against a ruthless and agonizing backdrop.
Gripping, Tragic, and Unputdownable: The Headmaster’s List by Melissa de la Cruz
I highly recommend this one. It is an exciting, fast read and I think fans of other popular YA thrillers will most definitely enjoy this one.
It’s like a young adult version of James Bond: Stars and Smoke by Marie Lu
It’s like a young adult version of James Bond and this book was so much fun! The plot is an exciting adventure from start to finish. Readers are going to love this new series and long-time fans of this author will not be disappointed.
Exciting and Easy to Read: Missing Clarissa by Ripley Jones
This was a fun, fast-paced story and I recommend it to any young adult readers. If you are looking for something easy, exciting, and emotional, this is a great story for you.
It’s a fumbling, messy, mayhem of idiots and I kind of liked it anyways. (Review of The Island by Natasha Preston)
Reading this is like watching a bunch of bumbling idiots running around like headless chickens. Why were the adults in this story the most dumb, useless, incompetent, clueless, idiots ever? No idea. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, that it would come out as a ‘hahaha it’s all a joke’, but it wasn’t. It actually wasn’t a joke. However, if you like a non-stop action, fast-paced, close-quarters, who-dunnit, mayhem of a thriller, you may also find it as fun and engaging as I somehow did.
Time’s Orphan (Odriel’s Heirs #3) by Hayley Reese Chow
This was a fun, fast read. I enjoyed this escapist adventure and it was just such a great experience. Highly recommend this book to all fantasy readers!
Sadly, it’s a DNF for me: ARC Review of Where Darkness Blooms by Andrea Hannah
I don’t think it’s bad by any means, but I think this one just isn’t for me. I failed to engage with it on a deeper level. I will probably be in the minority with this one so take my review with a grain of salt.
I’m lacking any feelings about this one: Revelle by Lyssa Mia Smith
I have mixed feelings, or rather no feelings, about this story. I really wanted to love it, but I didn’t. I may be in the minority here, but it just felt lacking for me. I really struggled to get into it and after halfway through I still wasn’t that engaged with it.
