A very compelling page-turner! This is one of those books where you just never know who to trust or believe, which is a favorite trope of mine. And I absolutely love the short chapters!
Somewhere in the Deep by Tanvi Berwah
If you are looking for something that is light and predictably entertaining, this is a good choice. I enjoyed the story and do recommend it to lovers of this genre if you’re looking for an easy read that is fun and satisfying, even if not necessarily mind-blowingly memorable.
Beasts of Prey (Beasts of Prey #1) by Ayana Gray – YA Fantasy
It’s a fun, quick, easy read that I think most YA fantasy readers would enjoy. It’s a very solid YA fantasy book and the writing style is perfect for someone who wants something that isn’t too dense.
Hemlock by Kiersten Modglin
I devoured this book in two days. I just couldn’t get enough of it and I was so invested in everything. After reading this one, I immediately went to find more books by this author.
Midnight Showing (Malice Compendium #2) by Megan Shepherd
This was a creepy, exciting ride and I highly recommend this series! It’s the perfect blend of horror, mystery, thriller, and even a bit of fantasy.

Y’all… Molly is one of the most iconic characters ever. She’s quirky and fun and wholly unique. These books are fun, fast-paced, easy, and enjoyable reads.

I devoured this book! I read it in one day because I couldn’t put it down. Terri Parlato is fast becoming a new favorite thriller author of mine.

This is my first experience with John Marrs and I’m happy to report it was a good one! I will definitely be checking out some of his other books after reading this one.
Beyond That, the Sea by Laura Spence-Ash
This was such a surprisingly enjoyable read for me! It was very emotional. I’m not a frequent historical fiction reader, but occasionally I come across one that is really impactful for me. This is definitely one of those.
When I’m Dead (Black Harbor #3) by Hannah Morrissey
This is the third book in a series but I read it as a standalone and I felt that it worked perfectly well as such. I enjoyed the writing style, she will definitely be an auto-read author for me in the future. I think the hype for this series is well-deserved.
Christmas Presents by Lisa Unger
I liked the characters, the plot was fast-paced and kept me turning the pages, the setting was well-crafted. It just has everything you want and expect from a thriller like this.
Rouge by Mona Awad
Wow! What a weird, wild, twisted ride this was. This is one of those books that you read and then need time to process afterwards to figure out what the hell you just read.
