I’m a new release junkie! I just get so excited about reading the newest books.
I love compiling these lists every month to share with you the books I’m most excited about. I hope you find something new to add to your tbr this month! I read books across nearly every fiction genre. The genres I include in these lists will vary each month depending on the books that are coming out.
Of course, this is by no means a comprehensive list of all the books coming out in March. I consider if I would buy the book, if it is getting good early ratings, or if I would recommend it after having read an early copy, in order to narrow down this list and bring you the best of the best.
If you want to learn more about them, I have linked the Goodreads page to each title. For any book that I was blessed with an ARC of, I have listed my rating and the links to my early review!
I’m so excited because this year I have created a FREE reading journal dot-grid printable that you can use to track your most anticipated releases for each month! Click this link to get it! It will be available to download for free on every new release post each month. It is a PDF file that includes one page for every month of the year. I love this minimal design that allows you to customize it with stickers, washi tape, or color it however you like. (P.S. the proof marks are not on the download)
Now, let’s get to the books…

Fantasy

The start of a new series and it is supposed to have a special first-print run with sprayed edges!
The Veiled Kingdom by Holly Renee
Pub Date: 19th
The start of a new series by the same author as the Stars and Shadows series. I cannot wait! This cover is stunning. Also, B&N is doing a special edition that has a gorgeous pink cover.
Historical Fiction
Horror
The Haunting of Velkwood by Gwendolyn Kiste
Pub Date: 5th
Pages: 256
I love a small-town, paranormal, horror story. This one sounds so good and has good early ratings. I also love this cover and can’t wait to read it and figure out the symbolism of it.
Diavola by Jennifer Thorne
Pub Date: 26th
Pages: 320
The blurb says this story is “unhinged” and that alone makes me want to read. I plan on going into this one blind and just enjoying it for the wild ride that I hope it is.
Mystery/Thriller
Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Cavanagh

Murder Road by Simone St. James
Pub Date: 5th
Pages: 352
I love this author and will continue to read everything she writes! This one takes place in the 90’s, and it’s about a string of murders on an abandoned road. I can’t wait to read it. I think it has the potential to be my favorite story of hers to date.
The Institution by Helen Fields
Pub Date: 20th
Pages: 432
I love anything psychological, especially a story that takes place in an asylum, or in the case of this one, a prison hospital. I think this will be a very chilling and creepy read. (This one was previously published, but I think this is the date for the US release.)
