Not every book is for every reader, and you may find that my reasons for not really enjoying a book might actually be a reason that you would love it.
ARC Review: Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay – Horror
Creepy, sinister, haunting, and unforgettable… brace yourself for this one! Equally difficult to put down and difficult to stomach reading.
ARC Review: Very Bad Company by Emma Rosenblum – Mystery/Thriller
To me, it just reads like a solid, basic thriller. If you are looking for a palette cleanser, fast, easy, read, then you’ll probably like this one.
ARC Review: Summers at the Saint by Mary Kay Andrews
Everything about this story was done well, the immersive setting, the character developments, the mystery plot, the romances, and friendships. I really enjoyed my time with the story and definitely recommend!
ARC Review: The Redemption of Morgan Bright by Chris Panatier – Horror
It’s a creepy, unsettling, terrifying, disturbing, nightmare-inducing, psychological/paranormal horror. This one will insert itself into your brain and never let you go.
ARC Review: A Game of Lies (DC Morgan #2) by Clare Mackintosh – Mystery/Thriller
Like a Survivor show gone wrong, where everyone has secrets, and we have to puzzle the pieces. You’ll be hooked on this twisty, fun, fast-paced read, with a snarky, lovable detective.
The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton – Scifi/Thriller
WOW, I loved every minute of this! It’s easily going to be in my top reads of the year, I already know it.
ARC Review: The Vacancy in Room 10 by Seraphina Nova Glass – Mystery/Thriller
Everything you could want in a thriller – fantastic cast of characters, creepy motel setting, perfectly-paced building suspense.
ARC Review: She’s Not Sorry by Mary Kubica – Mystery/Thriller
This is the type of twisty, edge-of-your-seat uncomfortable, unputdownable read that I love. It will keep you so hooked, you’ll binge it like a Netflix show.
ARC Review: Everyone Is Watching by Heather Gudenkauf – Mystery/Thriller
It’s dark and sinister, with a complex cast of characters. Like a train wreck of disaster that you can’t help watching for the thrilling intrigue of it all.
ARC Review: Watch It Burn by Kristen Bird – Mystery/Thriller
I have to be honest y’all, I read this four weeks ago and gave it four stars, but I’m coming back now to write my review and I honestly can’t remember anything about this book.
